An Amber Alert was issued on Friday, March 29, after a Seattle woman kidnapped a child. Quiana Marks is accused of kidnapping Camara Vega, 2, out of a Daycare on Henderson.
According to the Amber Alert, Marks is 47 years old, 5 ft 2 in, and 115 lbs, with black hair and brown eyes. She is believed to be driving a Gray Dodge Challenger. The victim, Vega, is 3ft tall and 50-70 lbs and has black hair and eyes. She was last seen on March 28.

Camara was located safe by police hours later. Marks is reportedly in custody.
According to reports, Marks and Vega’s mom had a dispute, which ended up in court. Vega’s mom, who has yet to be identified, unsuccessfully sought a restraining order against Marks. Marks allegedly went straight from court to Vega’s daycare, the MARS Early Learning Academy, near 9300 Rainier Avenue South, around 2:30 p.m., to kidnap her. “These women had a dispute and this lady went waay too far,” said Seattle local CJ Linder.
According to posts on her Facebook, Marks is having a dispute with her niece called Ginny, who she believes isn’t a fit mother for her daughter. In a March 19 post, Marks threatened to kidnap her child, writing: “Someone PLEASE tell my UGL’A** NIECE to she not ever getting or seeing her child until 2032 cuz ION THINK SHE GET IT and tell her stop asking me to print photos for her son’s room WE DON’T WANT NIGHTMARES I’ve lost enough sleep,”
In another post on March 24, Marks accused her niece of “setting her up to get shot,” She appeared to make threats once more, writing: “I mentored that lil b*tch and she keep moving like that her child will need a mentor….” Currently, Seattle residents are flooding her page with comments, warning her to return the child.
