Motocross sensation Haiden Deegan, 19, was arrested Friday night for stunt driving and street racing in Walton County, Florida. The incident occurred at approximately 9:58 p.m. when Deegan was reportedly performing donuts in an empty parking lot. Authorities charged him with violating local street racing and stunt driving laws.
Deegan, who leads the Monster Energy 250 West Championship standings, was booked into Walton County Jail at 11:29 p.m. and released early Saturday morning after posting a $1,000 bond. The rising star later shared his mugshot and booking record on Instagram Stories, captioning the post with “Certified stunt driver” alongside a sob-face emoji and the song “Bad Boys” by Inner Circle.

The arrest comes during a break in the Supercross season following the Indianapolis Triple Crown event. Despite the legal troubles, Deegan remains focused on his racing career and is expected to compete in Seattle on March 29.
Deegan has been racing professionally since 2022 and is part of Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing. He boasts accolades such as the 2023 AMA 250SX Rookie of the Year and three SuperMotocross World Championship wins. He is also the son of motocross legend Brian Deegan and brother to Hailie Deegan, a rising star in Indy NXT racing.
The Walton County Sheriff’s Department has yet to comment on the arrest.
