
Robert Daryl Dennis, 32, of Mobile, Alabama,, was found deceased in Paducah, Kentucky, late Wednesday following a search after he was reported missing earlier that same day, authorities confirmed.
Dennis was last seen on Clarks River Road around 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, according to the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office. He was described as a bi-racial male, 6 feet 1 inch tall, weighing 220 pounds, last seen wearing a sweatshirt, blue jeans, and work boots, with gauge-style earrings in both ears. The sheriff’s office had requested the public’s assistance in locating him soon after his disappearance was reported.
According to his wife, Dennis had just arrived in Kentucky to work at the James Marine Inc shipyard in Paducah when he went missing.
“My husband Robert Dennis has been listed as a missing person. He was last seen today 4/16/25 at the ship yard : James Marine Inc., Walker boat yard In Paducah Kentucky,” Shanna Dennis said on Facebook Wednesday. “His work truck is still at the shipyard with the keys and his safety gear on the hood. His phone and wallet are presumed to be with him but the phone is dead or off. I last texted him around 11:15 am and he was last seen at the ship yard around 3pm. He just arrived to Kentucky yesterday. He is not in his hotel and all his belongings are there.”
Dennis later confirmed her husband’s death. McCracken County Sheriff Ryan Norman said Thursday morning that Dennis’ body had been found in water off of Clarks River Road. He leaves behind two children, Sienna and Reina.
The circumstances surrounding Dennis’s death have not been publicly disclosed, and no further details about the cause or location of his death have been released by law enforcement. The McCracken County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the case.
