Rapper Lil Boosie Badazz was reportedly involved in a car accident in Atlanta Monday that left two people injured and the rapper mostly unscathed.
The accident occurred ear Exit 67 on Interstate 95 in McIntosh County, Georgia. A vehicle ran a red light and caused the wreck, the Jasmine Brand reported. Initial witnesses alleged Boosie was driving over 100mph when the accident occurred, however, the rapper’s representatives cleared the air a short while later, stating that he was simply a passenger.
Police arrived on the scene and detained the rapper, according to footage of the incident shared online. Authorities have yet to release a statement addressing the incident.
Boosie released a statement via social media: “IM GOOD. BANGED UP. BUT GOOD. GOD GOT ME.”
Photos and videos taken by eyewitnesses show a ‘shirtless’ Boosie talking with officers while injured people lay around. Emergency personnel were on the scene and treated the wounded, according to the latest reports.
